Terms of Service
Last updated 7 September 2026. MySwipe is operated by [registered legal entity], [registered postal address]. Using MySwipe means you accept these terms.
The service
MySwipe is a personal swipefile. You share a link or an image to it; it fetches the content behind that link, summarises and tags it with AI, and makes it searchable in your private account. It is a single-user tool: there is no sharing, no collaboration and no public feed.
Your account
- You need an account, and you must be at least 13 years old to have one.
- Keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account is for one person.
What you save
You keep whatever rights you have in what you save. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to fetch, store, process, index and show that content back to you, including by sending it to the AI and infrastructure providers named in the Privacy Policy.
Most of what you save was written by someone else. MySwipe keeps a private copy for your own reference; it does not republish it and gives you no rights in it. Saving content you are not permitted to copy is your responsibility, not ours, and it may also breach the terms of the platform you saved it from.
Acceptable use
Do not use MySwipe to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights;
- store sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence;
- bulk-harvest a platform’s content, resell what MySwipe fetches, or run automated clients against the API;
- probe, overload or work around the rate limits and quotas.
We may suspend or close an account that does any of this.
AI output
Titles, summaries, tags, place matches and answers are generated by a model. They are often wrong in small ways and occasionally wrong in large ones. Do not rely on them for anything that matters without checking the original, which MySwipe always links to.
Third-party content and platforms
MySwipe fetches content from platforms we do not control. Those platforms change, break and block; a save may fail, a transcript may be unavailable, and content may disappear from the source. None of that is a defect in MySwipe.
Plans and payment
- There is a free tier with a monthly save limit, and a paid tier without one.
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe, in advance, and renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
- If you subscribe through Apple instead, Apple’s billing terms and refund process apply.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before a renewal.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which deletes your saves and stored media. Export first if you want a copy. We may terminate an account for a breach of these terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice and a chance to export.
Warranties and liability
MySwipe is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data or lost profits; and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not affect consumer rights you have by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use MySwipe after that means you accept them.
